       The days of computing with machines attached with wires and a whole load of adapters are definitely archaic in the contemporary world. Even the desktops have evolved and established a portable form factor. In such a case let us look into some of the futuristic laptops available today and also. In this blog I'll be writing about some of the hi-tech laptops which can help in high end computing.

1] Apple MacBook Pro 2017

       Being an initial skeptic of apple computers; I was actually amazed by the difference in performance of Macbook pros compared with other branded laptops. Taking a step ahead, I have completely moved on to Mac OS (MacBook pro 2016, my laptop) just a week ago after my windows laptop gave way.

       The MacBook Pro 2017 versions pack a punch with hardware configuration which is as follows: Runs on Intel i5/i7 dual/quad core processors and is clocked at 3.1/2.8GHz in the variant with touch bar. Furthermore, it comes with a RAM of 8/16GBs (Expandable); also comes with a dedicated AMD graphics card 2GB; the storage options available are up to 2TB(SSD) and is dependent on your choice. Some of the key features and points to notice before buying MacBook Pro 17 are:

• It comes with a Touch Bar variant which holds a touch ID similar to Iphone finger print scanner. This allows you to add an additional layer of security.
• Apple has marketed this range of macbook pros on the basis of Touch bars which basically acts as programmable keys, allowing you to add a set of keys or apps on the touch bar. So it would actually come in handy if you are a full time graphics designer or a professional photographer with editing needs.
• The keyboard on macbook pro 2017 is sort of rigid and is made up of butterfly mechanism and also, creates a lot of noise while typing. (Tough to be quite, if your in a library!)

The Lenovo Yoga 920 as the name suggests is capable of 2 in 1 operation (laptop and a tablet) and can be flipped in 360°. Its a handy, portable computing machine, weighing about 1.4Kgs. Some of its features are:

• It comes with a finger print reader located to the right on the keyboard layout.
• The keyboard and the track-pad function as good as that on a normal laptop.
• The hybrid device also comes with one standard USB 3.0 port and 3 Thunderbolt type C ports. You would need extended USB accessories if your requirement needs more standard USB 3.0
• Since the device has an SSD storage, it supports up to 40Gbps of read and write speeds.
• Lenovo has added fast charging functionality to the device which comes in handy at tight situations.

3] HP Spectre X360 13

        Comes with a 13.3/15.6" 4K UHD touch screen display; has an Intel core i7 processor clocked at 1.8GHz; Has an 8GB DDR3 RAM and comes with Intel UHD graphics 620; It has a 256GB SSD storage and the stylus is included with the purchase. Some of its main features are:

• Has one of the best and vibrant displays for a hybrid computer.
• The battery is capable of day long operation.
•  Precision of the stylus is pin point, which helps in applications such as sketching, note taking and photo editing.
• The HP spectre comes with an attached keyboard with hinges permitting 360° motion.
• Since the Spectre comes with an inbuilt graphics, it may be sufficient for photo editing but, may prove to be insufficient for video rendering.
• While many brands are moving to a completely USB type C port trend; Spectre provides 1 standard USB port; although, you would have to buy extensions if you require more standard USB ports.

       This upcoming brand has stormed the gaming league laptop market by releasing the GS65 model. It comes with a CPU: Intel Core i7-8750H; GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q; RAM: 16GB DDR4-2400MHz; Screen: 15.6-inch FHD (1,920 x 1,080) wide-view 144Hz; Storage: 512GB M.2 SSD; Battery: 82 Whr; Weight: 4.14 lbs. Some of its key features are:
